In her personal life, she has been on both sides of a divorce. Being a step-parent at a very young age, she gained insight into the trauma children experience and the devastation and destruction poor co-parenting causes. Despite the stigma often linked with being a step-parent, she fostered a loving bond with her stepdaughter. Later in life, going through a divorce has equipped her to understand the emotional and financial challenges one faces.

Having a ” book-smart ” mediator about the Law is good, but having one with both subject and life knowledge is far better.
